'Barbra Streisand's Movie Musicals' by Allison J. Waldman - New Barbra Streisand Book!

Hello, Friends --

I'm very excited to tell you about a new Barbra book project I've completed. I hope you'll be interested in buying a copy (or two -- give as a gift!). It's my take on four of Barbra's movie musicals -- "Yentl," "Funny Girl," "A Star Is Born" and "On A Clear Day."

This isn't just a history of each film; it's more of a look at each picture, how it came to be, what makes it special and how Barbra learned and changed because of the experience. Every chapter is packed with rare photos from the films and the times.

There are two (slightly) different versions of the book. The differences are mainly the photos. The all-color version costs a bit more, but it is all color and some images are unique. The book is also larger. The smaller version is the same text and also boasts great images, but is more affordable.
