I Can Get It For You Wholesale 1962
I Can Get It For You Wholesale 1962
It's hard to get an idea of how amazing Barbra's Broadway debut was based on this original cast album. Her big solo number, "Miss Marmelstein" is funny, but hardly a knockout. Guess you had to be there to see the way she made it a show-stopper! Still, Wholesale has some nice Barbra "moments," like her leading the vocals in "What Are They Doing to Us Now?" and "The Ballad of the Garment Trade."
